In this episode I interview Dr. Paul Conti a practicing psychiatrist and consultant who has a deep understanding of trauma and its consequences. He has a new book out entitled Trauma: The invisible Epidemic: How Trauma Works and How We Can Heal From It. I first heard Paul speak on Peter Attia's podcast, The Drive. From the moment he started, I knew that this was someone I had to know. He is insightful and brilliant and yet he is able to put what he knows in very clear and accessible language. In this interview, Dr. Conti shares what he has learned from his non-traditional and broad educational journey, his own personal experience with major trauma, and his extensive experience with patients. This is one of the most important episodes yet. None of us will emerge unscathed from our collective engagement with Covid-19. Listen in to a passionate caregiver who is on a mission to save us from ourselves. Dr. Conti helps us understand the scope of the problem, the challenges we face, and the solutions that help us heal.
